Heartfelt words from Scholarship Student and CSSMA Parent, Fern Gilford:

"I am honored to be one of the recipients of CSSMA's Scholarship Program. Thanks to your generous support I am able to continue on in my journey of creative studies. Growing up in a musical environment allowed me to foster a love for music and helped me realize the value of continuing my education by learning an instrument. Being at Church Street has a been a blessing and positive experience. The diversity of students and faculty brings a uniqueness in culture that can be hard to find in one setting.

My son Karter is also receiving a scholarship to CSSMA. He is Autistic and at Church Street School, he is met with a compassionate, comfortable, and safe environment every time he attends class. While he is unable to express himself the way his peers do, his teacher knows how to unveil his creative passion. He loves the expressive movements that she has taught him through dance and how they allow him to smoothly transition to the piano for his lesson. I would encourage people to support to give others like me a fighting chance to enhance our musical abilities!"
